CLG Naomh Eoin was formed on the 6th of January 1974.
Naomh Eoin earned county league success on the double in 1976 and 1977.
In 1991, under the guidance of Kilrush coach Raymond Clancy, the Junior A title was won for the first time captained by Thomas Geaney. Another Junior championship was added in 1997, again coached by Raymond Clancy and captained by Patrick Foley.
On the 25th of April 2004 Pairc Eoin was officially opened by then president of the GAA, Sean Kelly. Another Junior Championship was added in 2005, this time managed by John Fennell and captained by Michael Liddane.
The club celebrated 40 years on the 6th of January 2014, and the year was marked by winning a fourth junior championship in Cusack Park under the guidance of David Russell and captain Gearoid Lynch. Naomh Eoins last junior championship was won in 2017, again with David Russell as manager and Pa Geaney as captain.
Naomh Eoin celebrate fifty years in 2024 and have competed at intermediate grade since 2018. In 2013 Naomh Eoin enjoyed success at under sixteen B and won an U 16 A and a Minor B with O’Currys in the same year. Over the past fifty years Naomh Eoin have enjoyed much success at underage including in recent years as part of Western Gaels. Pairc Eoin offers a football pitch, newly refurbished gym, indoor Astro pitch, fully lit tarmacked walking track which is available to all club members. Membership is available on foireann or via clubzap.
