Clare GAA Child Safeguarding Statement
Gaelic Games Child Safeguarding Policy
The GAA has introduced an updated online version of the Gaelic Games Child Safeguarding Policy, which replaces the previous Code of Behaviour (Underage). This policy, jointly agreed by the GAA, LGFA, Camogie Association, GAA Handball, and GAA Rounders, now serves as the official safeguarding standard across all Gaelic Games. It outlines essential good practice guidelines and is mandatory for everyone involved in working with underage players. We strongly encourage all players, coaches, parents, and club personnel to familiarise themselves with the content as soon as possible.
