M Donnelly Inter-Provincial Hurling Final

Munster will play Connacht in the M Donnelly Inter-Provincial Hurling Final on Sunday next in Cusack Park Ennis at 2:00pm. 

The Munster Hurling panel to play Connacht shows 3 changes from the semi-final panel which defeated Ulster. Brendan Cummins (Tipperary), Noel Connors and Paraic Mahony (both Waterford) are unavailable and are replaced in the panel by Patrick Kelly (Clare), Padraic Maher and Lar Corbett (both Tipperary). 

The full 26 man panel for Munster is as follows – 

Clare – Patrick Kelly, Brendan Bugler and Colin Ryan
Cork – Anthony Nash, Shane O’Neill, Tom Kenny, Pa Cronin, Paudie O'Sullivan and Patrick Horgan
Limerick – Tom Condon, Donal O’Grady, Gavin O’Mahony, Wayne McNamara, Shane Dowling and Graeme Mulcahy, 
Tipperary – Paul Curran, Brendan Maher, Padraic Maher, Shane McGrath, Patrick Maher, Lar Corbett, Brian O’Meara and Eoin Kelly

Clare Footballers loose to Limerick

Clare Footballers lost to Limerick in the McGrath Cup Qtr Final in Foynes on the score 
Limerick 2-16 Clare 2-13 after extra time. 
The sides were level at 2-10 each after a game that was dominated by Clare all through. 
Limerick's equalising goal came in the last minute of normal time.

Venue: Miltown-Malbay @ 2:00pm


Referee: James Bermingham (Cork)


Clare have defeated LIT by 1-20 to 1-2 in their opening game in this year's McGrath cup in Miltown.

Mick O'Dwyer saw his side lead by 1-11 to 1-0 at half time- Gary Brennan with the goal.

In a totally one sided affair Clare ran out easy winners and face Limerick next weekend in the Qtr Final in Limerick.
 

The Clare hurlers  defeated Offaly in their challenge game in LIT today by 2-22 to 0-15.

Aaron Cunningham scoring two goals for Clare as they led by 2-10 to 0-06 at half time.

Tony Kelly scored 13 points in total.
