Clare 4-28 Carlow 0-8

Clare had 32 points to spare over Carlow in a one-sided Division Two clash, a result which secured the Banner County’s passage to the final of the competition. They will now face Limerick in a winner-takes all clash with a place in Division One in 2012 up for grabs. Clare led 1-15 to 0-4 at half-time thanks to Diarmuid McMahon’s goal on 23 minutes, before Colin Ryan, Jonathan Clancy and McMahon all hit the back of the net in the second half to complete the rout.
